Paul has in-depth experience of implementing large & complex projects in national and international environments. Paul’s recent experience includes leading several multi-country Oracle Finance ERP deployment projects covering over £1bn revenue and user populations of c. 2000 employees. These projects involved migration from varying legacy platforms and challenging legislative requirements in several countries.
IT Change & Interim IT Management
Paul has managed and driven change in large IT functions encompassing project delivery, solution design/build, outsourcing and IT service and product management. These IT functions have served a diverse range of business models ranging from large centralised organisations to decentralised models with highly autonomous regional/sector business units.
Outsourcing
Paul has led several large outsource contracts from concept development through to implementation. He is adept at striking the balance between the commercial drivers for outsourcing and the pragmatic realities of on boarding new vendors and services.
Turnaround
Paul has led the turnaround of several failing projects and IT functions. His broad experience combined with his calm and pragmatic approach allows him to identify the root cause of issues, develop and sell the required corrective actions and then implement them while maintaining stability in the short-term.
